Together with our partner Schwalbe, we recycle your old bicycle tires and tubes.

The Schwalbe tube and tire recycling offers the key advantage that no valuable raw materials are lost but can be reused in new Schwalbe products. This actively contributes to resource conservation and waste reduction.

The special thing about it: Everyone can participate by dropping off their used bicycle tires or tubes at their local dealer or for free at the BIKE FILM TOUR*, thus supporting the circular economy.

This is how the recycling campaign works

You bring along

Bring your old tires and tubes of all brands to a BIKE FILM TOUR event in one of the participating cities ↓.

We collect

A recycling box will be set up at the event. Please hand in your material there free of charge.

We transport further

The BIKE FILM TOUR team handles the transport and ensures that the collected material reaches Schwalbe.

Schwalbe takes care of the next steps in the recycling process.

How are old bicycle tubes recycled?

As the first bicycle tire manufacturer in the world, Schwalbe takes care of the collection and recycling of used bicycle tires from all brands. The fully closed-loop system proactively contributes to energy and resource conservation while reducing CO₂ emissions by 80%.

This comprehensive recycling process has been awarded the Eurobike Innovators Prize.
